Sure they may have an army of magical little helpers that come to their aid if they're gearing up to hit the red carpet, but that doesn't mean they're any less familiar with the tips and tactics it takes to be the night's biggest stunner. As such, many celebs have looked to capitalize on their beauty know-how by starting their own product lines. With one of the shiniest stars in music hitting the scene with her own line this year, MadameNoire takes a look at the celebs who are parlaying makeup into money.

Rihanna

It's finally coming! Rihanna's long-awaited jump into the makeup line waters has finally been slated for Fall 2017. While exact product details aren't known quite yet, here is what we do know: FentyBeauty will be available at Sephora, RiRi earned a cool $10 million dollars to develop her line and chatter seems to point to a larger initiative where FentyBeauty will be searching for incredible makeup artists to join their team. That is all well and good, but ultimately we just can't wait to see the edgy hotness that FentyBeauty adds to our make-up arsenal.

Iman

At 61 years old, model and mogul Iman is still impossibly beautiful. The Somalian stunner has been taking our breath away for years, so when she launched her own product line, Iman Cosmetics, in 1994 we knew it was going to be some good stuff. And for decades, it certainly has. Focusing on creating shades for women of color, Iman Cosmtics built much of its identity around the idea of celebrating your skin and in the process has attracted millions of devoted brand enthusiasts.

Eva Mendes

Say what you will about her acting chops, but we'd be lying if we didn't say just how gorg Eva Mendes is. She has mastered a sultry, sexy look whether she is on the red carpet or just keeping it casual. So when she decided to launch her beauty line CIRCA in 2015, we were quick to take notice. Wanting to bring quality to drugstore make-up sections, Mendes teamed up with beauty manufacturer Maesa and was able to develop a full product line with prices accessible to a much greater swath of women without sacrificing quality. Just a little advice: Pick up one of CIRCA's eye crayons ... they are wonderful!

Tyra Banks

It's no surprise that model and mogul Tyra Banks decided to leap into the beauty line waters with Tyra Beauty. The woman who taught us the art of the "smize" is now adding a little pop to our makeup collections as well. With a robust product set, Tyra Beauty certainly has something for everyone.

La La Anthony

In 2012, La La Anthony teamed up with Motives by Loren Ridinger to create her own makeup collection. Feeling that there was a notable void in beauty products catering to women of color, Anthony decided to step in and change the game. In the process she has create a line that addresses the needs of black and brown women with a variety of foundation shades, bold lip colors and much more.

Erica Mena

Eric Mena may not be the biggest of celebrities, but we still had to give her credit in spinning her "Love & Hip Hop" fame to launch her own beauty line. It's challenging for reality stars to move past their time in-front of the cameras to create some staying power in other pursuits, but Mena at least made it happen for a little while. Unfortunately her line never really took off, but here's to hoping she can get her entrepreneurship back on track.

Taraji P. Henson

We love a good celebrity collection from our friends at MAC. So needless to say, when we saw our favorite Taraji P. Henson tapped to create her own collection with the iconic makeup brand we were really, really excited. Needless to say her line sold out instantly, with scores of women wanting to achieve her naturally radiant glow. Now we just need her to take the major plunge and go all-in with a beauty line of her own.

Mariah Carey

Songstress Mariah Carey and MAC teamed up this past winter to create a specialty collection that was big on the sparkle and big on the glamour. From lipglass to eye color palettes, the Mariah X MAC holiday collection definitely delivered for women to bring the sexy to their Christmas and New Year's Eve outings. And while the look and packaging might have been a little much (does the ENTIRE tube of lipstick need to be glittery?), we loved that it was as bold and just a little out there like Mariah herself.

Kat Von D

Of all the celebrity beauty lines currently out there, Kat Von D Beauty might just be our favorite. While that is likely to change once FentyBeauty hits stores (#RihannaIsLife), Kat Von D has been bringing her A game for more than eight years with her Sephora collection. We absolutely love her line for the rock 'n' roll, yet feminine edge it brings to the table. And a little extra incentive to buy ... her line is now all vegan.

Karrueche Tran

Karrueche Tran always looks stunning when she hits the scene, both on the casual and dressed up fronts. So when she partnered with super hot beauty company ColourPop, we knew something magical was going to happen. Out of their union came KaePop, a 13-piece collection with bronzer, blush, eyeshadow and more. After KaePop's initial success, the line was expanded with a follow-up wave of products and is poised to continue growing with Tran at the forefront.
