Your NeNe Leakes break is over because the reality star — or queen rather, as she’s dubbed herself — is making her way back to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” (RHOA).
Yesterday, the cast’s most outspoken member ever announced she’s returning to the Bravo series for its 10th season. Proclaiming, “The real is back.”
It's been a long process but we've finally reached an agreement! All hail the Queen for season 10 of #RHOA @bravotv #thethreatisback pic.twitter.com/fbMfqSBjIx

NeNe starred on RHOA since its beginning in 2008 up through the seventh season, only making guest appearances during season 8. When she announced her official departure from the series in 2015, amid acting opportunities like starring on “Glee,” “The New Normal,” and even in Cinderella on Broadway, she wrote on Instagram:
“This is so hard for me to type! I cry as I do so! I am so Grateful for all the love and laughs! Thank you so much to everyone that has watched and supported me over the years on this amazing platform! With lots of thoughts and prayer I’ve decided to step out on faith and not fear.”
At the time, show creator Andy Cohen said NeNe would always be welcome back and it looks like he made good on that promise.
We love @NeNeLeakes & she is always welcome back to the house she helped build! She's a Real Housewife forever!!

According to People magazine, filming for the 10th season of RHOA is expected to begin soon and “While no casting decisions have been announced yet, Burruss, Williams, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey and Shereé Whitfield are all expected to return — while Parks will not.”
It’ll be interesting to see how the show dynamic changes between the women on the show now that the “queen” is back and what they think about this news. Are you here for NeNe’s return?
