Cuba Gooding and his wife Sara have been going back and forth about whether they are going to remain married or get a divorce for a while now.
Back in 2014, after twenty years of marriage, Sara filed separation documents. But earlier this year, <a href="http://madamenoire.com/621231/cuba-gooding-jr-still-dates-wife/">Gooding said that he still dates his estranged wife</a>. So it’s never been entirely clear what they were going to do. Sadly, according to <a href="http://www.tmz.com/2017/01/19/cuba-gooding-jr-responds-with-divorce/"><em>TMZ,</em></a> Cuba has responded to the two-year-old separation petition with one for a full-on divorce.
Gooding is asking for legal joint and physical custody of the couple’s 10-year-old daughter. Apparently, he willing to split his assets with Sara in spousal support. But he did say that he wants all of his assets from after 2014, the date she filed for the separation, to remain his and his alone, which would include the money from "The People vs. O.J."
Sounds more than fair if you ask me.
It's just a shame they couldn't find a way to make it work.
